When you reach this UNESCO World Heritage site walk around gazing at the impressive tower-temples — they are remains of a religious and political capital of the Champa Kingdom. Originally built with wood but they were restored in the 7th century with locally made brick after My Son Sanctuary was completely destroyed by fire one century earlier. Over 70 similar temples were built there by the 13th century establishing My Son Sanctuary a true sanctuary of Hinduism in the Champa Kingdom.
Pick the optional boat tour and enjoy a meal on the Thu Bon river so you can relax after your tour and observe the daily life on the waterways and the villages. (Only Hoi An Departures)

Today begins with a My Son Sanctuary tour; a visit to the capital and religious centre of the former Champa Kingdom a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Gorgeously located in a lush valley, you will see dozens of red brick towers and sanctuaries dating to 7th as well as the 13th century. My Son Sanctuary will be the first half of this day tour and we return to Da Nang or Hoi An. If you have selected with boat tour option you embark on a 2-hour boat ride to enjoy a delicious lunch.
